You know what absolutely lights me up? Seeing that moment when someone in front of my camera realises they can actually take a bloody great photo too. I know how much courage it can take to be photographed, which is why every part of the process, from the first conversation to the final images, is built around you feeling at ease, prepared and like yourself.

Because the best photos don’t happen to you, they happen with you. Not performing. Just present.

Our phones are full of pictures nobody prints. These aren’t those. Whether it’s your kids looking back one day, your brand finally looking like you or a set of images that are just unapologetically yours, these are the ones worth making intentionally.

finding beauty in the ordinary

After the birth of our second baby, we booked a newborn photoshoot with Petra. She spent time listening to what we were looking for and understanding our style. Having photos taken with an 18month old and a newborn was never going to be easy! But Petra never rushed and had many ways of interacting with our toddler, getting the best out of her. We are so pleased with our photos and they capture the love in our family and this precious time for us. Petra is just the most talented, kind and loving lady and we can’t wait to get her round for some more photos later in the year! Thank you!
